About Malmö

Malmö is Sweden’s third‑largest city and is located in a growing region. Within a radius of 100 km from Malmö, approximately 3.8 million people live.

The city has a large and active sports community with many different disciplines. Sporting events and competitions are frequently hosted here. In recent years, Malmö has, for example, hosted the Special Olympics Games Sweden, the Eurovision Song Contest, the Floorball World Championships, the European Men’s Handball Championship, and the Europe Grand Smash.

Malmö offers the wide range of culture, restaurants, and activities you would expect from a major city, yet still has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Everything is close by. Most hotels and attractions are within a 15‑minute walk from the city center.
