The wait is over! From 4-6 September, athletes from several countries will gather in Malmö to compete, connect and create lifelong memories at the Special Olympics Sweden Invitational Games 2026.

We invite everyone to be part of this unique celebration. Experience the joy, excitement and inspiring performances as athletes compete in a wide range of sports across the city. The Games are about much more than sport. They are about inclusion, friendship and creating opportunities for everyone to participate and belong.

Visit the activity village, try different activities, meet our mascot Speci-Lo and enjoy memorable moments with family and friends. Don't miss the Opening Ceremony in Folkets Park on Friday, 4 September. The ceremony is open to the public and free of charge.

Admission is free and no accreditation is required.
